Deleting your data

If you used Instagram with Hephus

Two ways, and either is enough to stop us receiving anything further:

  1. In Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, and remove Hephus. Meta tells us straight away and we delete the stored access token at once.
  2. In Hephus: Instagram → Disconnect.

To also remove the log of comments and messages we stored, email privacy@hephus.com from the address on your account, or use Meta's data deletion request, which we handle automatically. We delete your Instagram connection, your keyword rules and the whole event log, and reply with a confirmation code you can check here.

If you are a seller

Do it yourself, at once: Settings → Delete this account on the website, or More → Delete account in the phone app. You type your own email address to confirm, and your account, products, site, agents, leads, list and Instagram data are deleted immediately rather than within 30 days. Your sign-in stops working straight away.

Order records are kept for six years where tax law requires, reduced to the minimum: amount, date and a payment reference, with buyer details removed.

If you would rather somebody did it for you, email privacy@hephus.com from your account address and we will act within 30 days.

If you bought something from a seller

The seller controls your data; we hold it for them. Contact them first. If you cannot reach them, email us and we will pass it on and act within 30 days.

What happens to the file you bought

Deleting your data removes your access link. Download anything you want to keep first.
